I've had a thing for the M-10/11 SMG since I was around 8-10 years of age, in the late 1980's,
and had always wanted one.

after putting such things clean out of mind for the last twenty-odd years,
I've recently found myself in something of a rather early middle-age crisis,
once again longing for one of these guns.

as such, I have been out for an affordable, high-quality
M-10/11 replica as of late, as realistic as i can possibly find for a reasonable price,
all for the sake of my personal posterity.

that said, I just recently found pretty much exactly what i was after,
in the form of the used, but complete/excellent condition HFC brand "ASSAULT EAGLE" M-11 Gas-Airsoft shown above.

- I had grabbed this thing for exactly $90 shipped, a very fair price indeed
for what i found once i actually received and unpacked it,
especially considering that actual M-10 firearm examples
are now rare collector's items, literally commanding thousands of dollars per copy,
depending on age, physical condition and make.

this replica has every function that an actual M-10 does,
and can even be field-stripped in exactly the same fashion as the real thing.
further, it is very satisfyingly heavy in hand at around 3/4lbs.

as mentioned, this is an actual, functioning semi/full auto 6mm plastic BB-firing gas-powered auto-pistol.
i do not have gas nor ammo for it, and do not intend to purchase any,
as i only wanted this for it's replica value.
however, if you would like to see it in action, have a look; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhBeT...eature=related

Welcome and glad you are happy with your purchase.

However, the HFC M11 is a very dated Gas SMG...Airsofters are fickle and it is not often fielded.

With that...if your just looking for collector pieces to hang on the wall. Your in a good segment of the Airsoft market.

It's also worth mentioning that the HFC M11 (and KSC/KWA M11) is actually made to M12 (.380) size. If you want a correctly sized M10 or M11 the only option currently made is the Tokyo Marui M10 (.45ACP).
No one makes a correct airsoft (9mm) M11.

The MAC-10 was available in 9mm and .45 ACP. The Marui replica is .45, but externally there is no difference.

The MAC-11 was available in 9mm and .380 ACP. There is no replica of a MAC-11 that I know of.

The MAC-12 was only available in .380 ACP. The GBB replica is of the MAC-12.

Some of the metal body kits for the GBB actually have the correct trades for the M12/380.

my original vintage 1970's printing of the MILITARY ARMAMENT CORP. M-10/11 owner's manual (orange booklet seen in first photo above)
states, many times over, that the M-10 was available in .45 and .9 whilst the M-11 was .380 only.

there is NO mention of an "M-12" nor have i heard of such a thing...

Me neither...just tossing that out there.

But, the KSC one are more accurate. It doesn't have "Strike Eagle" on the production dies.

Well, I guess it depends on who's listing(s) you read. There is certainly conflicting information out there.

Either way there is no 9mm version for airsoft, only .45 and .380.

I only mentioned it because most people assume that the airsoft "M11" is built to 9mm scale (which it is not).

I think there is only a 6mm version for airsoft ;P

I love the MAC style and am picking up the new MPA 57SST A-TACS, I love the NS2 MAC's I wish they didn't get so dirty from the open bolt.

MAC-12 is made by Cobray. Here's a used one for sale:
