MP44 Magazine Pouches

Post by collin » Fri Oct 30, 2009 8:31 pm

I recently purchased an MP44. I have 4 magazines for it as of now. I would really like to get into WWII reanacting so I have been looking for magazine pouches. Does anyone know where I can get some magazine pouches. Also, I have an MP40 and would like to know where to get magazine pouches for that, too. Thanks.
Its not bragging if you can do it.
Today we did what we had to do. They counted on America to be passive. They were wrong.
If you see me, thats because I want you to. If you hear me, thats because you got lucky. If I shoot you, well thats just normal.

http://www.hessenantique.com has them both in stock right now.

So you're interested in WWII airsoft, that's great. http://ww2aa.proboards.com/index.cgi? is a forum solely for WWII airsoft, there's a wealth of info in there. Use the search bar.
We can always use another German, but I'll warn you now, it's a lot of kit to buy. It can be done fairly cheaply, but it takes patience and time. In the meantime, head to Ragstock or a similar used clothing store and put together a partisan loadout for less than $20. You'll find a guide here, http://www.ostfrontairsoft.com that will give you pointers on what to pick up. We use partisans to balance out the teams, so you could be fighting alongside anyone.

You will find WWII airsoft is a bit different than modern, as we tend to limit the number of full auto guns on the field for the sake of historical accuracy. The primary weapons of the period were all semi auto or bolt action, and replicating this really makes for a fun game. We also use mortars, vehicles, and an anti-tank gun, the PAK38. Tactics really come into play here.

The closest place you can join us right now is Neillsville, WI. The Big Lake field has a min. age of 16, sorry. Watch for an event this coming spring.

Thanks. I was also wondering if I could still use my MP40 and MP44 even as a partisan. I'm getting a Kar98k, but it will be a while (right now I'm working on my MG42) so I may only be able to use fully automatic guns. It will also be a while to I complete my German uniform...

Absolutely. Partisans are scroungers, so any period correct weapon is a valid one. You'll just more than likely be attached to the German side

What MG42 are you working on? And which K98 are you getting?

Me and my freind are working on a custom MG42. We are using a Yugo M53 body kit and a SRC Complete 8mm AK Gearbox or a SRC complete 8mm G36 Gearbox. We are going to use a Tokyo Marui M16 inner barrel as well as a Tokyo Marui M16 hopup. We are also converting some of the 50-round drum magazines into airsoft magazines. Its going to be pretty sick when we finish it. I will post some of the pictures. Also, I haven't really decided on which of the Kar98k's to get. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
