I hope no one has posted this or that it's not that old of news but a company has produced a Vietnam-era radio that can work with normal radios

That's pretty cool. The real things are heavy buggers, wonder if these replicas have the real weight (doubt it)...

They do not. I own one, it kicks ass. It's made from a resin casting, so the radio waves are not impeded by it at all.
