Youtube Nam Airsoft video

Heres an interesting Vietnam Airsoft video I stumbled upon on youtube, shows how authentic a "historical" airsoft game can look when everyone goes out and gets the right gear. This looks like a scene out of "Platoon" or "Hamburger Hill" the movie, and imho if they would've allowed M4A1s and G36's, and 'whatever you want' for gear, it would've looked more like any other SFP open session.

We can get somthin goin just like this here in Minnesota too.

I agree with that considering how much Vietnam re-enactment equipment costs compared to WW2 impressions, especially for VC and NVA.

I know the Thompson was used, but it looks so out of place there.

I've got a video of 25th infanrty division in vietnam, I think in either 1967 or '68, showing regular grunts with M16's and M60s. In a couple of the shots you could see a soldier or 2 with Thompsons. You probably wouldnt see somthing like this later in the war, like 69-72.

I saw a clip on the history channel where there were some troops in some earthworks and a guy with a thompson just blindfires like crazy. It was pretty sweet.

Did anyone see this video as well? There is some woodland guys, it doesn't look very historically accurate but man, does it look like fun with all the VC guys storming that hill.
