U.S. World War Two helmets at C.C.'s?

I recently was at CC's and noticed that one of the steel pots for sale there was a front seam helmet. If i am not mistaken this means it was made before 1944. Is it common to find these for sale there? Needless to say i purchased it, it came with a korean era liner and a woodland como cover.

there is a very good chance it is. they started making rear bale hemets in the fall of 44 I believe.

may I ask what you paid?

also, this should be in the WWII forum.
