Get a shorter barrel...PSG is excessively long for a stock mechbox.
I rather use a "nightmare" that shoots like a dream over something that looks like a "dream" but shoots like a nightmare.

Don't fear the gun...fear the one that's wielding it!

and get a decent hop up. IE, NOT AGM! Id hate to see this sweet gun only shooting to half its potential. Id get a V3 or V6 mchbox and put an ak barrel and AK hop up into it.

i want a PSG-1 barrel so when it gets here and i mount everything, i can cut it down to the length i want. I am looking a building a m-14 gear box and purchasing a ak hop up, but for all intent and purposes, the gear box and barrel i have will do. I am more worried about my custom feed system the the internals of he gun.

Chadwick, it's not a hard thing to do. You just need to make sure you don't clamp it and bend it or leave burrs in the end from after cutting it.

will try, current list of things to do for it:
1. Soder wires together
2. soder fuse back in
3. get ammo feed system
4. solve alignment problem between gear box and barrel
5. figure out tubing system from gun to ammo can
6. chrono
7. carry case
8. sock (gun condems are too small for this barrel, any ideas?)

You said that your girlfriend sews, right? Just use a heavy cordura/nylon material and make one with a larger inner diameter similar in design to the ones shown in Archangel's game posts. Just make sure to include that piece of material that crosses the seam directly in front of the muzzle to prevent bbs from splitting the seam. Should be relatively simple to create, I would think.
