Congratulations and thanks to the Recruit Squad Leader Caveman who decided to endure the punishment for a second cycle and led his recruits to an excellent showing.

Congratulations to Trippy who was awarded the Honor Grad for his cycle.

Thanks to our dedicated and hard working OPFOR. Without them BATC would not work and could not happen. Special thanks to Cotton who asked for the role as OPFOR Field Commander this cycle and performed excellently.

Sore muscles, bruised shin, chafed shoulders, exhausted, and can barely stand up from the couch, yet I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Thanks Cadre, OpFor, Caveman and most of all my fellow recruits. I learned a lot about airsoft from all of you, as well as a fair amount of horrible, horrible jokes. I hope to see you all on the field.

Just wanted to share my thanks for everyone that participated in this training. The Cadre, OpFor, and fellow recruits worked hard to make this an enjoyable and learning experience, which made it totally f*cking awesome! I learned alot, made new friends, and spent a great weekend playing the game I love. Thanks again everyone!

Can't wait to see some pictures!

Congrats on becoming Honor Grad Trippy, and thanks again for the ride!

And, if anyone found an Intellect 1400 anywhere on site or in the field, I'm missing one from my kit.

Thanks,

That was probably the most fun I have had in airsoft since the Rebel smoke bum rush in Operation Breakdown, even though I didn't end up graduating in the end. Though, what I did get, was knowledge of what I need to do to improve. Thank you again to Arch, Rude, Junshi, and Tank for being the instructors to the class, and a big thank you to Erik for running it. Oh, and thanks to the Opfor, you made this a great challenge. I will definitely be back for this next cycle, and next time, I'll be ready 8)

Was just looking for them also. I found the Cadre group pictures, then the recruits during the hour review with the squad leader, which then skipped right to the mission.

Ha ha, the last time that happened to me in field, I was bunkered in next to uRizen and med!c. I said "Fuck I ripped my pants!" and she responded (to the effect) "Did your junk do it?"

I turned and looked at her like this
One of the few times I had ZERO to say. Really funny.

Better late than never...

I just wanted to congratulate all of you and thank you for a tremendously fun weekend.
Like all of you, I was at BATC to learn, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of recruits to help me do that. The variety in knowledge and experience we had in the squad provided a fine cross section of airsofters one might end up on a squad with. From the fairly new, to the experienced, to someone who has done more real-world training then I am ever going to do. Watching your skills improve as well as watching the camaraderie of the squad grow was both insightful and fascinating.

Thanks to the cadre and commandant. Once again I am awed at how solid and educational BATC is. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to be the recruit squad leader. Being RSL this cycle gave me exactly what I had hoped for, training, experience, and most of all, confidence that leading a squad is something I can do. I still have work to do, but now I feel I have a solid base to work from.

Thanks to the OPFOR. You kept us on our toes, and shot us in the ass when we needed it. You helped make BATC the highest caliber airsoft I have ever played.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to play with all of you.
Congratulations. And thanks.

BATC was beginning of my airsoft career. Yep, that's right. I'm a "born-again-airsofter".

I hope that doesn't offend anyone (i.e. born again Christians). It shouldn't. What makes you think you get the "born again" thing all to yourselves anyway? Seems selfish.

I digress...

BATC was the best airsoft experience I have had. After it was all over, I found myself feeling like it all happened so fast. The training, the drills, the patrols, etc.... then BOOM. It was over. I wasn't sure that it would all sink in.

Then, I drove home... Constantly thinking about the training, the squad, the painful mistakes, and the minor victories. Over the course of the next 90 minutes, I realized what had actually happened. They taught us how to play, good.

I don't want to cheapen it. You have to go through it yourself to know the real experience.

Many thanks to the Cadre for my recent baptism. The training was invaluable, and I now have a foundation for all future training. Can't thank you enough.

Thanks to the OPFOR. You guys were awesome.

Thanks to Krunk for taking a shit load of great pictures. It's pretty cool to have so many pics of weekend to look back on.

And lastly, thanks to my fellow recruits. RICK ROLL muthafucka!

This is a one of a kind program. Every player should take it.
