Somalia, 1993. B co. 3rd batallion, 75th ranger regiment. (blackhawk down)

Kit List:
-LC-2 pistol belt
-LC-1 ammo pouch
-LC-1 canteen cover
-LC-2 canteen cover
-LC-1 buttpack
-LC-1 compass pouch
-M69 JFAK
-3 color desert BDUs (DCU) (still need trousers)
-PASGT helmet (with 'chocolate chip' cammo cover, cat eyes band, and GI sun/wing/dust goggles)
-LBV-88
-Ranger Body Armor (RBA) (still needed)
-Jungle Boots
-knee pads (still needed)

Note: I realize LBV-88s were not used in Mogadishu, but I'm using it for airsoft, as it's superior to the LC-1/LC-2 gear in terms of load distribution, and ammo arrangement.

Well, hope you enjoyed the 'great quality' pictures, lol...

For your Ranger impression, you got to paint that M4! Also, add an optic and a PEQ (I'm pretty sure 1st gens were in use).

Have you ever considered doing modern impressions (although I know money may be an issue).

nope... no PEQs. if anything, just take a flashlight and tape it on to the forearm.... that'd be more accurate.

Hell no! XD modern just isn't my style, what with all the digi cameo, and MOLLE. ALICE is, and forever shall be, my favz. (Also M56/M67 gear with the slide keeper/ALICE clips) so no, no modern.

Well, just saying, modern is really more multicam than digital, with the exception of the AOR' s in the navy.

My point is, I don't like modern.
