I might suggest swapping the double flashbang pouch on your left side with the pistol mag pouches on your right side. What all do you carry in your FB pouches? I can't imagine that you actually carry that many grenades, so do you even need that many FB pouches? If you are carrying that many, it might be a good idea to move the double FB pouch to your upper back, so that when you are breaching a room the person behind you can pull it out to toss. It would open up molle space on easier to access locations for potentially more useful pouches.
Yes, I'm left-handed  . I use the flashbang pouch for my tornado grenade (planning on getting a second one JIC, hence the double pouch) and for random things I might need (like a speed loader for lower cap mags). Also, I plan on getting an under-barrel grenade launcher (for looks and CQB  ). I like your idea for the flashbang pouches being on the back though :D . BTW did I really say snip  ? Or is that an acronym for something?

I said it, as in I "snipped" the quote. I do that so people know I'm responding directly to the quote, but I remove the unnecessary extra text/pics when the quote is within a few posts of mine.

Did a once over of all my gear today so i recruited my roommate to snap a quick picture. Finally got my remote antenna set with the correct antenna, as well as my new RAMP's on the side of my vest.

Indeed it is a belt rig, I just call it a chest rig for some reason.

I have detachable shoulder straps that came with my waist rig.I chose to remove them because they were sort of uncomfortable.

I would recommend an "H" harness for the belt, with you hydration attached to the harness.

I would also recommend your dump pouch being rear and centered and all your pouches on the sides, basically leave the front open.

The current layout will provide lots and lots of difficulty in a hunched, crouched or prone position.

The pouches aren't rearrangable. They are fixed and can't be moved in any way. I could probably do something about the straps though.

If the pouches are fixed, then it more then likely is a chest rig that you are just wearing around your waist. I don't think that I've seen a belt rig with fixed pouches.

Its a a flyye 6094, modeled after the LBT 6094 series plate carrier.

The mag holders are called RAMPs (Rapid Access Magazine Pods) and are sold by Gear 4 Grunts and also Master TCAA.

My new loadout that im going to run at MG 2013 next weekend :)
Atacs-fg bdu and Boonie
OD combat jacket (fleece)
Battle Belt w. H Harness
Dropleg Platform w. double M4 kangaroo, and 2 pistol mag pouches
Dropleg holster w. lanyard (not in pic, wont run at MG as i took my pistol appart :/)
Image
Image
I made this to be light weight and fast. That way i can keep cool, and avoid getting snagged in wooded environments or the junkyard
I also chose it because it does not cover up 90% of my camo like a plate carrier, that way when im running the FG blouse i can hide just as effectively
Got to field test this 2 weekends ago. Needs a bit of adjusting so it doesnt ride back from the weight of the cammel.. think its because im not running my right leg holster which would hold down more on the belt. Simple fix.

Yes they are Anzi 87.1 rated. I just didn't know the brand of the goggles when I posted it. They are Scott Goggles with the orange lense instead of clear.

Also look into a pair of boots if you don't have those already - can keep you from twisting your ankle.

Yup, that will work. You will need a full face mask (like that one) to play with us because you are under 18.

For those of you who like Company of Heroes, or like retro loadouts, here is my WWII Luftwaffe Field Division impression:

Image
It consists of a basic field-blue uniform, faded camo smock, rifle pouches, and webbing. The helmet has been painted in a camo scheme and has chicken wire netting for attaching foliage. Not pictured is a custom built spring Kar98 that shoots around 450-500fps.

i have a question about loadouts. more specifically if it is a good idea to have more than one. my position in airsoft has alwase been the primary sniper and i have been had problems with my sniper in the past and was not able to play in some matches and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a smaller loadout with probably an m4 and 1 or 2 extra mags for it just in case i ever have problems with my sniper and cant fix it right away. plus i dont want to spend another $200+ on a second sniper.

Don't get 2 loadouts. If you have one and you want it too look different just change out small things like the suit or the guns internals/externals. First of all what kind of sniper do you have what are the problems with it and what don't you like about your load out that made you want another one, besides the fact that your gun doesn't work a lot of the time? If you are having problems with your sniper and want a different gun all together you could always get an m4 and make it in to a dmr, replacing the whole trouble of that bad sniper problem all together.

This is where I will spoon feed you. If you want an m4 and don't want to do any internal work get a jg and build it from their. Why? #1 jgs have high fps some even 450 #2 they don't need much internal upgrades so it's mostly external mods to make the gun look and act like a dmr. Oh and if you are going with a dmr don't get a gun that requires a longer barrel because if the gun needs one you will have to change out the cylinder for one that Is meant for a dmr length barrel.

There's nothing wrong with having multiple load-outs. I have separate load-outs for open sessions, large ops, and indoor games, as the amount and type of equipment I need to carry for those situations is vastly different. I also have some separate load-outs for different guns, like my MP5, which use magazines that don't fit well in my normal AR/AK mag pouches. I can easily see maintaining a separate sniper and AR load-out being a good idea, as the type of magazines and equipment needed for each will be very different.

Magkill, this is a gear topic, if you want to post opinions about airsoft guns go to the Guns section.

(I know neither of these are period correct, but whatever)

My impression is Of a 1983 (Op. Urgent Fury) 82nd airborne soldier in Grenada.

Pros: epic, looks good on me, I like the era, durable original USGI web gear, ammo

Coins: no CoD quick reload BS, 'Not modular (pfft)'

However, I recently got an LBV, and set that up, so my impression has changed. Will post pics after Sunday this weekend.

I also run a 1968 Vietnam USMC loadout, and will soon be starting a 1993 Ranger (black hawk down) impression.;

Happy V-Day!
Grimes: Why aren't you shooting?
Waddell: We're not being shot at yet.
Grimes: How can you tell?
Waddell: A hiss means it's close. A snap means-
[a bullet whizzes close by]
Waddell: Now they're shooting at us!

Lightweight skirmish / open session rig I built mostly from Guges' table at the Airsoft Concention, plus a few things I had laying around the house and cheap eBay purchases.

Image

MOLLE skeletal rig from Guges, 4 Condor shingles in the back, 4 clone tacos in front, Condor fold-up dump pouch on the left, Condor gadget pouch on the right.
Pretty simple setup. Holds 8 AR mags, plus a dump pouch, and the gadget pouch holds a dead rag in the front velcro pocket plus barrel blocker, spare battery, and whatever else in the main zippered pouch.

Ran it at the Airsoft Arena game this past weekend and it worked quite well. The base MOLLE rig is low profile enough that I can easily wear a hydration system on my back with it.

I've got my new kit pretty much set up, so I figured I'd post it here. This kit is for my UMP.

For starters, here's my "under rig"

Image

Condor battle belt harness
Condor Gen 2 battle belt
Phantom gear dump pouch
Phantom gear weapon catch

Then my plate carrier

Condor gunner plate carrier
Matrix triple smg pouch 2
Condor adder sling

I believe that's a condor double m14 pouch that I use for pistol mags

Image

On the back
Condor oasis hydration carrier
condor universal pistol holster

And a shot of it all with my mesh helmet (I do wear goggles under it)

Those are too small to see much with the sun in the background.
