My field is located south of Rochester, all you have to do if you want to play is go to my website, print a waiver, either sign it or have it signed by a parent if you're under 18 and then show up on game day.

Yes this year everyone will need to sign a new waiver. Also a new policy this year will be everyone under the age of 18 will be REQUIRED to wear full face protection.

....ok....but his 2009 schedule is the very first post so......what does it matter? I haven't seen a lot of site updates to his website, I would only assume because his time is wrapped up in other things. Regardless of the status of his website, the first post lays out his 2009 season for you.

I have a few new scenarios/games planned this season as I am growing tired of running "cashbox" all day...

New games include:

"Last Man Standing", a flag based free for all game. First to hang the flag wins!
"Drug Lab", a two side game where one team has to defend an area and the other team has to plant an explosive.
"Downed Pilot" returns to play. Currently forcing random players to be the "Pilot".
"Hostage Rescue", just what it sounds like. Also forcing random players to be hosties for this game.
"V.I.P", this game has been revamped and will run more like the counter-strike map. The V.I.P will have 2 extraction points.

Other games are having the kinks worked out and will more than likely be implemented in the coming weeks.

all the fields in mn are only open the days they say they are to play on... SFP is a paintball field and only does airsoft they days the MAA reserves it

there is a place in wisconsin called hidden valley paintball and mx. they do paintball games n all that jazz. but to play a private party you have to reserve it for the day. you have to have like 10 ppl or so. is there any place that does that for airsoft. and with the hidden valley thing. maybe MAA could look into that. im sure that they would love your business if you can convince them to let us play airsoft.

if you have a suggestion you should say it to archangel, Doc (who runs the FFA field) uses the land for his field that someone he knows owns, might be family, or a friend im not sure, but i doubt highly hes gona pay a fee to use someone elses field

i didnt know that he owned the field. i thought he rented it from someone for the weekend. well there goes that idea. it is a pretty sweet place tho. they got a bagdad course. its got a gas station some buses. and the Alamo. as well as other nice boards. i might bring it up if he doesent notice my large deviation from the original topic.

I usually don't like to speak for other people, but I'll just quickly put this out there...

As I was told, Doc uses his friends land as his field. The reason he only runs games when he does is due to other commitments on the opposing weekends. The MAA does not use FFA as a "field", they use SFP in Buffalo and now they have the MS40 playground to use. I wouldn't think Doc would have to "reserve" it, as he decides when he wants to run sessions.....

I guess I need to clarify some things.

I only run games every 2 weeks because right now there is not a large enough player base in SE MN or all of MN in general (now that I think about it) to run an airsoft business every day. I have found that if I run games every weekend, then they are small and not too much fun. So I use the every 2 week schedule throughout the summer to ensure enough time has passed between games to give players enough time to look forward to playing again. I have the authority to run whatever I feel like on the land that I have access to whenever I please, so no I wouldn't run games anywhere where I would have to "rent" unless they have some crazy awesome setup.

It would have to be under my supervision, so that I have proper insurance coverage. I would prefer to have plenty of notice that you want to do this, and I would most likely charge more per person seeing as the game would be on my personal time. I'd like to talk to you more about it in person if you really want to do something like this. You should come out to an open game so we can talk it over.
