What M16 front assembly?
I rather use a "nightmare" that shoots like a dream over something that looks like a "dream" but shoots like a nightmare.

I think Guges was more asking WHICH brand/type.

The single most common cause of a loose barrel &/or RIS is a loose barrel nut.
If that's loose, everything that connects to it will be loose.
Depending on the type you have, you may need an AR15 armorer's wrench to tighten it.

If it's an A&K then plan on buying a new barrel nut. I've seen literally hundreds of broken barrel nuts on A&K M16 series guns.
