Where can i get a paintball mask that qualifies?

Post by Hawkeye315 » Tue Oct 11, 2011 4:19 pm

I want to know where i can buy a paintball mask that will cover ears and everything and is under $30.

Would this be acceptable? http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/Product ... F-MASK-06B
I do not require posts just saying. "Buy a paintball mask" "you need a paintball mask" I want to know where to buy one. I live in the suburbs of the TC

On face value, no, that mask would probably not be sufficient. Lenses must be ANSI Z87 compliant, which those don't explicitly say they are.

Anything made by Scott or JT should be good, those are the two go-to makers for paintball masks.

As for where to get them, I would recommend online because that's generally cheaper and you get a better selection, but if that's not an option then you should be able to get one at Walmart, Gander Mountain, Dicks, Cabelas, or someplace similar.

If you can go a little more than $30, I'd recommend it. Ideally you want something with thermal lenses that will breath well, and I've found that generally the cheapos aren't as good.

Are you serious? Looking at a cheap airsoft store for a good paintball mask?

There is a place called Sportmart and the sell these things with thermal lenses for $29.99.

Cool story bro. I looked online and there were only 2 baseball masks under "mask" search and 0 for "paintball" search.

While I incorrectly cited an old name for Sports Authority. If you would have typed in www.sportmart.com it would have redirected you to sports authority.

Anyways...make sure you get a Thermal Lens Model.
