Minor Face protection rules.

Post by LieutenantIDan » Thu Sep 30, 2010 9:43 pm

I'm sorry if you get this a lot, but i'm 14, and I have one of those ungodly paintball masks, and I'm wondering if I MUST wear those.
I have a really hard time with those, because I have glasses, and everyone knows you can't aim with them.
What I was wondering is if I could wear a Shemagh with some wrap-around goggles or something and maybe a Neoprene mask under it and get away with it.

I'm guessing it all depends on fields and whatnot, but most of them will have a Minor mask rule I'm guessing, but I know we ALL hate the damned paintball masks.

For All MAA games, if you are under the age of 18 you must wear a full face paintball mask.

And know what? Yes, we do get this a lot. Next time use the "Search" feature or look around for a few minutes before posting.

Like bikemancs said, it is required.
Paintball masks arn't bad. Im 19, and every once in awhile I'll rock a paintball mask. Once you get shot in the face, youll realize how much you miss that piece of plastic between your face and the rest of the world.
You'll learn quick that aiming in airsoft isn't like aiming a real steel weapon. Most people shoot, and after they see were thier bbs are going, will walk thier shots in.
So don't be so quick to knock those "damned" paintball masks.

So those are my only choices... crap.
Well, as I said, I wear glasses and these things are a literal pain to wear with glasses, so, any suggestions?

Read the "Eye Protection" sticky thread at the top of this sub forum. Lots of advice in there.
