Neither option is acceptable, as neither of them cover your ears.

If you are under 18, your only real option is to wear a paintball mask.

The 1st one might be OK.
I'll defer to Erik &/or Archangel to decide on that one, as IDK weather or not ear coverage (or lack there of) is a deal breaker for minors.

The 2nd thing you linked to...I think that will largely depend on how it fits you. Many of those separate 2 piece systems leave gaps between the goggle & the lower 1/2 where BBs can easily get through.

As long as the goggles were ANSI Z87.1 Rated I don't think that would be a problem. You may have to figure out how to wear the goggles inside the mask however. The rules call for full seal and if placed on the outside of the fencing mask.......Sorry, used to Fence.......You wouldn't achieve full seal around your eyes. Mesh is notorious for splintering bb's when hit so It could still be argued by the safety officer that in the event of a splintered bb this wouldn't constitute full face protection.

Why don't you just wear a paintball mask...

Geez..for the price of that crappy Evike mask you can buy a Paintball mask with thermal lenses.
I rather use a "nightmare" that shoots like a dream over something that looks like a "dream" but shoots like a nightmare.

From what I have heard, those are not allowed alone, PERIOD. To actually make that mask safe, you would need some sort of safety glasses, or full seal goggles underneath it. Main reason for this, as Keysor stated, is that bb's can shatter when they hit the mesh. This could send shards of bb's into your eyes. Due to insurance policies, this fact alone would likely stop any airsoft field from allowing these.

A set of thermal lenses or goggles will use a dual lens setup to decrease the fogging issue. same concept as a double pane window.

Put on a head band to catch sweat from the forehead. A thermal goggle will never fog up.
