Longtime RS enthusiast finally getting into airsoft

Post by ThePunk » Fri Dec 20, 2013 4:37 pm

Hey all, registered on here awhile back and figured I should introduce myself. I've been around firearms my whole life and love to build ARs almost as much as I enjoy shooting them. As ammo prices have been obnoxious the last few years I started to consider an airsoft rifle as an additional training opportunity. I picked up a KWA RM4 ERG Scout (too many acronyms!) and have been thoroughly impressed with the similarities to the real deal. I was also pretty heavily into paintball about 10 years ago and am starting to get that want back - I'm thinking airsoft will be that outlet this time around. I'm looking forward to hitting up TCAS in Baldwin next year as well as Devil's Ops in St. Paul (have a KWA MP9 on it's way for CQB!).

This looks like a great, well run community and I'm hoping to meet a lot of you in the future!

Welcome to the boards :D. A lot of the people here on the boards are also real steal enthusiasts, so I think you will fit in just fine.

Look at a Gas Airsoft Gun made by G&P.

You will have a heart attack.

I rather use a "nightmare" that shoots like a dream over something that looks like a "dream" but shoots like a nightmare.

Don't fear the gun...fear the one that's wielding it!
