Stick battery haters

Post by Kalaka » Mon Sep 07, 2015 1:38 pm

I keep running into info that makes mention of people having issue with (even just flat out hating) stick batteries. They seem like the redheaded stepchild of the battery world. I'm guessing they're more prone to damage from being bent and they don't fit in every gun, but the one in mine seems ideal. (Dboys AK)

For some guns you HAVE to run a stick battery (mostly with folder AKs). For most guns you CAN'T run one, as they simply won't fit.
They're kind of a PITA to carry extra(s) on field with you and they can easily get damaged if you're not super careful with how you store & transport them.

Fair enough. Seems like a length of 1" pvc pipe would make a decent case to be strapped to the side of a backpack for easy access.
