G18C AEP Parts? (Air Nozzle)

Post by Gir » Sun Apr 26, 2015 1:56 pm

So I know Nine-Ball makes a few different parts for the G18C AEP series, but I have an issue... My air nozzle broke. Does anyone make a replacement part for this?

Thanks,
Chris

TM or CYMA?

In either case...it is not a heavily supported item. You may have to see if any AEP nozzle works for it...

CYMA...

I'm about to give up on it. The parts are extremely hard to find, and the "plastic" they use is so cheap and fragile, that another part broke, makings it full auto only...

And that is the issue of the CM030....

I couldn't find anything. Could you get someone to 3D print one for you?

That would work only if you had an intact original, plus then getting a good scan of it. On top of that...the cost for a durable unit would outweigh the cost of a new AEP.

Like Guges said, of course you could. I've been thinking about getting a 3D printer for a while, and still very well may get one for a lot of the parts I run into needing (many of which either don't exist, or are extremely expensive).

However, the cost of a 3D printer is around $500 to $700 pending the quality you want. With that said, the cost of a all in one "Scanner/Printer" STARTS, at about $1,700, and goes up to about $3,000. You could try to design one on your own using a CAD program (which I am HORRIBLE with), but even that, would consist of a lot of trial and error.

If I would have known a month ago when I was still in tech school, I could of measured the nozzle out of my CM.030, designed and printed a few. I had access to a 3D printer and a CAD program called Solid Works. Unfortunately a copy of Solid Works is about $3995 for a license and a subscription is $1295. :(

Edit: I can get a free trial of Solid Works and send it to Shapeways to print, maybe.
