M4 Rails

Post by ty2610 » Mon Aug 11, 2014 7:59 pm

I am getting new rails for my M4 P*. I am just looking for some opinions on what people think are cool looking rail systems. I've been looking, I just don't want to miss a rail and regret my decision. Thanks!

depends on length, weight, what style of rifle you are looking for, if you want all rails, or you want modular rails.

I'm thinking 7 or 9 inch rails, weight really doesnt matter to me that much, and im looking for a 416 or a m27 style.

ok, key question.... is the gun you are planning to put this rail system on a 416 or M27? if it is, then you have about a handful of choices...

if it is not, then 416/M27 "style" isn't really a choice, because the 416/M27 has a higher top rail then a standard M4/M16 pattern rifle.

I just like the 416 look, if I cant use them well then I guess I'll have to go with an M4 rail system.

I have one of these. It's an aps guardian rail. They come in 3 lengths, black or tan, and are very modular. Very well made, fit tight with no wobble, clean finishing details. Its all personal preference for external looks, so get what you like the looks of.

if you like the look of the 416 rail, then you like the having rails on all 4 sides.

The madbull Daniel defense Rail systems are a good bet, as are the madbull PWS RIS units.

There are about a billion different options... you'll just have to do some shopping around to find one that you like the look, style and price of.
