Archer, how much room is there inside the stock tube on that thing, I doubt that it's possible but any way to cram a Lipo in there?

not one for a normal AEG, but I'm hoping that eventually there is enough room for the one that powers a P* eventually. so, gotta make due with a PEQ for the mean time.

New kit I just got.
A Diablo front end, sr47 body, and G&P stock/motor/internal.
Turned out decent, may need a few tweaks.

That last one is definitely unique. Not quite what I like but hey, if you like it then sweet! I do like the retractable stock though on that.

idk it's weird, i like ak's as they are, most versions companies come out with are weird as hell but this, this i like. and i am a picky mofo. i like to customize stuff and this allows me to do that outside the norm. most ak's, if you want to customize them require a totally different body or major part replacements and this one just kinda fit the bill.

Totally custom job, second completely finished rifle I've built. TM Thompson, custom barrel block, Koba M870 gas shotgun, real steel SPAS12 cage and handgrip, metal
Pulse Rifle Shroud, Metal barrel vents and 3 position locking metal stock. Shot counter is "sort of" functional, but I haven't finished the complicated
wiring process to make it count down as the rifle is fired. Battery is run outboard as there's NOWHERE to put it in the shroud.

Thing weighs around 16 lbs unloaded with no battery or magazine.

Total cost... I shudder to think of it, but I'd guess it's in the $2000-2500 range or so.

Maybe someday I'll even finish it. :D

There's something wrong with my gun... I think it's a loose nut behind the trigger.

Work in progress, but this is how it sits right now. Mp5 DMR with a barrel extension to fit a 455mm barrel plus 6 inches of foam filled suppressor, retro fitted sniper stock, and 3-9x50 scope.
Undecided on future paint job, and still need to find short mp5 mags as the full size ones look silly.
internally it has:
shs 13:1 gears
currently an echo 1 high torque motor awaiting frankentorque build
shs blue 15t piston
lonex pom piston head with #14 o-ring
sorbo for aoe
stock cylinder head with gasket maker for air seal
lonex nozzle
g&g green bucking flat hopped (will do er-hop down the road)
polished inner barrel until funds allow for a prommy
running on 7.4v lipo until i get a mosfet installed
and of course all the usual deans, 16awg wiring, reshimmed, aoe, and so forth

That is even more absurd then Sharpshot's P-90 DMR! :P

If you can find one of the short Mp-5 high-caps I bet it would work.

Or get one of these http://www.evike.com/products/45810/

And one of these http://www.evike.com/products/45808/

Now it's ridiculous. :D

Funny thing is. I've seen two separate 416's (real steel) that had stickers with similarly sized and worded warnings. so it might be more accurate than you think.

Really? So the surplus of 416's w/o the huge paragraph (like HKG version of VFC, Hurricane 416, PTW 416 kit, etc.) are inaccurate?

no. I'm saying that the large paragraph is also present on SOME real steel models that had a warning sticker placed on the side of the reciever below the manufacturer markings.. so It's not as out of place as you are making it out to be.

whats with the attitude?

Sorry, didn't mean to come across as hostile. Just was confused because so far, I haven't ever seen a real steel model with those stickers. Either way, I don't think that Umarex put that there to emulate the real stickers... but aside from that, is that an M27 conversion kit on the 416c?

Did a little work on my AK this evening:

Image

I wanted a more modern tactical look and functionality, but I also wanted it to maintain an AK sensibility. I drew my inspiration from some of the more modern firearms being used by Russian special forces and counter terror teams, and specifically the PP-19-01 Vityaz SN SMG. It was a zero-cost upgrade for me as I has a pair of unused MOE rail sections laying around and the rest was just drilling holes in the right places and attaching equipment. I went for the Surefire and Aimpoint as that seems to be the preferred setup from what I've seen of Russian VDV and OMOH security teams getting a lot of press at Sochi - and again, I had them laying around so they were free.

Two unrelated questions:

Is that leather wrap on the stock?

I think it would look better with an off brand tac light. Thin leather sling, well worn receiver, and a name brand light. It doesn't mesh.

It's has a quality build and magnification adjustment is smooth. It has more like 1.1-4x and the eye relief goes from 5-4.5ish in. in that manner. The illumination is nice with 5 settings for both green and red. I havent tried sighting it yet but the reviews I've read have been saying it holds zero even for real steel well.
