OH NONONONONo. its not "that dpms" its accually a good one. Im firmiliar enough with AEG's to not buy one of those 60 dollar, 250fps, Clear plastic pieces of crap. It's a Good gun. 14-1800 rpm im guessing. 420 fps. So dont get the wrong idea. I checked it out myself. The internals JG quality, if not better, than my JG m4a1 internals.

by "Best gun", I meant, I own 2 aeg's, and this is the better of them. I dont mean "out of the pile of my walmart guns, and springers...."no. I DO NOT own a spring airsoft gun. I dont mean to get all defensive, but damn, please dont take me for some ignorant kid.

ORLY? well, thats interesting. It does have different internals from my other JG though... but my jg is a ver.2, maybe this is a ver.3? would that make sense?

I assume you mean Gen. 3 not Version 3. ALL M16 variant AEGs use version 2 gearboxes.

My M-4 pistol (not yet finished):
Image
I made this for use in "special" roles where I probably won't be shooting very much. I want to be able to one-hand this and still have the same firepower as a regular AEG, and be able to use the same batteries and magazines as I have used for a long time now. It is shown here strapped to a "deployment bag." I can carry whatever fits in that bag for whatever reason, and the gun is always ready to rock.
Gotta get back in the game.

Well it's up for sale to be up for sale, though unless I get an offer at that price Ill just go ahead and use it. I used it once against the Smyrna Police dept. in a training exercise and it is a veeeery comfortable.

With Tank's help, I just completed this Colt 723 carbine. If the XM177 is the M4's "grandfather" than this is its father. You would have seen these in the hands of Delta operators during the 1980s up until around the time the M4 became common issue.

The differences are subtle - a full-profile barrel, A2 flash suppressor, and an A1 receiver. The barrel assembly was particularly difficult - it would have been a breeze to install an M4 barrel assembly, but then it wouldn't have been what I wanted. I finally wound up shortening the barrel of a JG M16a2.

Very very nice work Erik (and Tank)!
I always have had a real thing for old school guns from the 60's through the 80's, and that 723 is one beautiful AR!

I'd resize this, but i'm lazy, so here's thumbnails.

As soon as i find my teeny-tiny allen wrench to get that flash hider off (Fuck you JG, why don't you just glue it on there like everyone else?), i'm going to paint that, the delta ring, pistol grip, and grips on the Berretta OD.

Edit- M9 is finished. the M4 is still in peices. Foregrip, add-a-rail and sling are in the mail. Yay!

This is my Custom RPK. Pretty sure I am goin to get rid of it thou, even thou I JUST GOT IT from my guy who made it for me(Marsden of Airsoft Iowa).
I realized I LOVE LMG's, just only American LMG's(ie:M249, M60, etc.)

Believe: Originally a CYMA AK-47
Modified internals mixed CYMA parts and CA
RPK Wood-kit
Steel, upper reciever
ABS lower(if it would have been all metal, I PROBABLY would have kept it, but.....yea....)
If I remeber right she was shootin somewere along the lines of 350fps...
Funny thing is..........it has only seen TOPS TWO Hi-caps thru it...LoL

Stargate tends to have that effect on people

I still think of getting another P90 now and then, but if I got another one I'd want one with real steel P90 optics to replace the bogus red dot, a metal upper receiver, Surefire 6P and presure switch, and the Laserex internal laser unit.
And then I realize thats $610 + HK shipping for just external parts (not including the cost of the P90 itself) and I have to step back and say to myself "No P90 for you!"

Hmm... making someone soil their shorts at the sight of a airsoft gun is going to be pretty difficult task to pull off. It would take one heck of a creation to make me lose control of my bowels.

But... I think a 100% accurate looking (externally speaking, mag included) VSS Vintorez that shot 500+ FPS would probably do it.

Yeah, I've looked at the Trapper Industries custom VSS but it's still not close enough for my tastes. The stock and outer barrel look good and the foregrip is decent (although a bit too large). It really needs a new receiver and mag though to be an accurate VSS.
Just for reference, here's...

A real VSS Vintorez

But yeah, maybe if I ever win the lottery I'll buy a real deactivated VSS and convert it for airsoft use

Hey! Let's put it in perspective here.

I know you're an AR fan soooo... what would you think if you went to buy an airsoft version of the M16 but the receiver was twice as long as it should have been, the selector switch was shaped like a G3 selector switch, the magazine was shaped like an AK-47 mag, the foregrip was way wider than it should have been, the upper receiver was shaped like a flat top upper but without any kind of rail, and the stock was missing the endcap?
That wouldn't seem very much like an M16 to you, would it? Chances are you wouldn't want it with so many details wrong...
And now you see where I'm coming from (hopefully).

But hey, on the upside I have found a guy by the name of "Riot" on the RA board who made a very accurate looking VSS from a JG SVD, a hacksaw and sandpaper, and a very low budget and it looks freakin' fantastic I think. Gonna be sending him PM to find out what all modifications went into it methinks.

That said, since this is a picture thread I'll take a little space to pimp Riot's custom airsoft VSS Vintorez!
( besides, we need something other than P90s on this page  )

If we're gonna talk oddball russian guns, Saiga 12 > VSS, in my opinion. It wasn't really designed to be a sniper rifle, anyway, Spetsnaz wanted a supressed SMG, so they necked out a 7.62x39mm to a 9mm. Then they decided to slap a scope on it, and it works, i guess. I find the Saiga much more interesting, mostly because they make them in 7.63x39mm, .223, .308, 30.06, 12 and 20 gauge, and 410.

Semi-Automatic 3-shot AEG based on an AK? Yes please.

Image

I'd even settle for a Saiga front set and .223 magazine for an AK series.

Link because pic is huge-

P-90s are an odd gun, most people either love them or hate them ... then there's Faust who's in a league all his own ...

I still cringe whenever I see a P-90 with the SOCOM suppressor attached to it though, it is a .45ACP suppressor and would not work at all with the P-90 ... I have no idea why TM shipped the TR with the damn thing.

Eh, I've got nothin' against P90s at all. Infact, I love the original optical sight version :D
I was never a big fan of the TR, but that pic that Biscuit-Boy just posted of the TR with the EOTech 552 on top might have just changed my mind! The 552 really looks perfect on the top rail, like the 552 was made just for that gun. The shape, length, everything looks just perfect.

Yeah, I think I just changed my mind about the TR. Slap a 552 on it and it's gold in my eyes

Well, I decided to go ahead and spray paint my g36 similar in style with the KSK and the KS. The base is Tan and Khaki and the streaks are red brown covered over with olive drab and forest green. Then I went over it with a small brush using middle stone to add more effects. This is my first full gun paint job but I think it turned out nice.

Well, this is bullsh*t.... Due to China hosting the olympics, the ONLY time i ever order ANYTHING from HK, or even out of the US, i get boned.

So now i have to wait a LONGGG time (Due to more bullsh*t, on my behalf) to order what i DID have coming....

They should be getting back up now, even as the Olympics loom. We just received our first batch of Echo 1s, the first in a long time. Of course I'm more excited about next week when we restock our VGMs and get those fancy new Echo 1 SCARs. Most HK distributors have started to get the wheels turning again. You may still have to wait a few weeks, but they are deffintally back up.

A RPG-7
and that would have made us shit in our pants how? short of a real rpg-7 and a live nosecone whipping past my head and taking out half the castle, i'm not impressed

if an RPG-7 is impressive though, then what i am bringing just re-invented the wheel
