Warning/Disclaimer: This event takes place over the course of 12 hours(no scheduled breaks). If you do not think your physically able to be combat effective for at least that period of time, this is not the event for you.
It will be physically and mentally stressful under these conditions (very limited sleep, uncertain weather, insects galore, possible extreme heat, darkness, and more).
To put it frankly, it's a meat grinder. Prepare for everything.
1.00 Safety
---------------------------------------
NO Firing(includes dry fire) in any zone that is designated at NO SHOOT ZONE or STAGING AREA. While in these no fire zones, you are expected to have your mag out of your gun, safety on and have a barrel blocker on your barrel.
No Blind Firing!!!! You MUST BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR TARGET!
No Pyro or smoke is allowed at this event.
1.1 Safety Kills
For the safety of all, players who approach an unaware opposing player within 10' must utilize a "Safety Kill" by calling out aloud, "BANG!... You're dead" to the opposing player. At that time, the unaware opposing player must honor the "Safety Kill" and follow appropriate medic and/or re-spawn procedures. Remember, SAFETY FIRST!... Engagements within 10' should be avoided at all costs.
1.2 Parley
The most common use of parley is when two opposing players confront each other at the same time (within 10' of one another), when both were previously unaware of each others presence. Either or both players should call out aloud "parley" and immediately back away from one another. IF SHOTS ARE FIRED... Both players (hit by shot or not) should return to the nearest respawn.
2.0 Magazine Restrictions:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Magazine restrictions will be used for most events:
- ONLY Low/Reg/Mid capacity magazines are authorized. These mags are defined as any non-winding magazine.
- ONLY support weapons will be allowed to use cmag/drum/electric/box mags.
2.1 Grenades/Rockets
As of right now, there may moving vehicles on the field, so if you have nerf rockets or slugs, bring it. This may change, but the use of nerf rockets/slugs will be "mission specific" and the info will be provided in your Commander when the use of said items will be relevant.
BB shower grenades ARE allowed.
2.2 Weapon Restrictions
Any AEG, GBB meeting the FPS (450 FPS with .20 gram bb) requirement is allowed.
No classic airsoft gas gun without paintball certified tournament lock.
No exceptions.
3.0 Hit details.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
To avoid any confusion, everything except a gun-in-hand will be accountable for the hit(IF YOU ARE HIT ON THE HAND, YOU ARE OUT). This means that every BB hitting bags, hats, rags, shemaghs, boots, friendly-fire, etc will count as "hit". Any holstered or slingd weapons being hit will also count as a legal hit. Immediately after you are hit,
1)You are to YELL HIT! HIT! HIT! (YOU MUST YELL, it is proper player conduct to let the opposing player know you have been hit. It is also recommended to yell, SO THEY STOP SHOOTING YOU.)
2)Then put a dead rag on your head and call for a medic (have kill kard in-hand, if applicable).

All AEGs, and Bolt Actions, will need to be chronographed before entering the field. Each gun will be tagged and logged. 6.0 Medic Rules (ALL PLAYERS MUST READ!)

-YOU CAN NEVER HEAL YOURSELF.
*Kill Cards and Bleed-outs
-Bleed-out- Once you are hit, you must wait a minimum of 5 minutes in the spot where you are hit, you cannot move. You can choose to call for a medic at this time. Once 5 minutes has elapsed you can return to your factions nearest re-spawn.
-Kill Kards- Once you are hit, you must yell hit, pull out your dead rag(can call for medic), and have your kill kard in-hand, ready to hand to an enemy player if asked.
7.0 Player Conduct
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All players are expected to behave in the staging and playing area. Being said, all players should:
- Play with honor and integrity. Airsoft depends on sportsmanship so CALL YOUR HITS.
- Dead players don't talk or gesture. Call for a medic, nothing more.
- Respect the environment. Trash cans are there for a reason.
- Animals can't shoot back, leave them alone.
- Foul language will not be tolerated. Not everyone thinks cussing and yelling is cool; keep it to a minimum and to yourself.
- Physical or verbal contact between players with an aggressive manner will not be tolerated. Players involved in any physical aggression will be expelled, suspended or turned over to local Police.
- We are all friends. Always take care of the guy beside you, friend or foe. If you have any doubts about a player, don't be shy to ask if he needs assistance, even if it is just for some water.
- Players caught stealing will be turned over to law enforcement and blacklisted from all future TOC events, and the incident will be reported to all major airsoft organizations, and field owners/operators.
-Absolutely no alcohol or drugs will allowed on the property. No one appearing under the influence will be allowed on the property (includes camping area)
7.1 Camping
(edit 6-21-10)
Camping space at the new Big Lake field is somewhat limited. We have determined that there will be plenty of space to accommodate the anticipated head-count. The T.O.C. is projecting approximately 40 to 50 players attending this year. If you have a trailer/camper you are planning on bringing, please let us know ahead of time by emailing skmidwest@yahoo.com. Please include "Camper/Trailer" in the subject line.
*There will be a Biff bathroom available.

Amir el-Faust- Rebels
