Re: Real Steel AR build help.

I was looking at those for a while. Didn't see anything wrong with them except the price. I just can't justify spending the same price for an upper as a full rifle. But, you should be able to make your money back using surp ammo. Also, what do you guys think about piston ARs? I don't think they're n...

Re: Real Steel AR build help.

You may wanna check your whole list. If you need to buy a bolt, sights, barrel, gas system, comp/flash hider, etc, then it can add up.
Not saying that's a bad piece of equipment, but buying in a package generally saves money.

A) Magazines. Designed to be easily detached from the receiver. Clips go into internal magazines (a la 1903 Springfield). B) Search "Molle G36 Pouch", found about anywhere. For instance, ( http://www.lapolicegear.com/blackhawk-strike-molle-pals-double-g36-triple-m16-pouch.html )1st link off of google.

Well, I'm considering that the most (Option 2/3). However, the way to fix the problems with microswitches is to get a code in the mosfet where it ignores "noise" from the vibrating contacts. So, a mosfet will ignore contact signals if they last, say, under 5 microseconds or something along those lin...

With the manufacturers, it's not about their capacity to make nice parts, it's about the likelihood of getting a garbage part. RRA, Del-Ton, etc serves a different market than Colt, because most people seeking RRA/etc parts are looking for cheaper parts. Colt, etc can afford to spend more on a part,...
