Re: Operation Rice Paddy XI 7-OCT-2017 (Newfolden, MN)

If you live in Northern MN this is as good as it gets for Airsoft in the Northwoods.
Rekkon puts a ton of effort into this game, providing all the props and a few surprises.
Come on out for one of MN's longest running Airsoft games. 8)

interesting read. I've been out of Airsoft for years now... still have all the gear though. looking to perhaps re-enter the scene, a decent prospect.
Now would be a great time to get back into airsoft.
And get Sharpshot to come out as well. :D

Welcome back to the community.

I'm not on Facebook either.

There is a lot of airsoft going on in the Twin Cities right now.

Most of the more active fields/organizers still post things in the events and skirmishes section of the boards.

I know Rekkon has used them a bunch but never in Minnesota. My impression is they're classified as fireworks so that makes them illegal here (in Minnesota). Having been on the receiving end of the timed rounds, I can say it's pretty crazy having rounds literally bursting in the air over your head. :...

Re: what type of AEG would be a good beginner start up

Combat Machine or JG are good beginner gun brands.
Plan on dropping about $150 for the gun (maybe a little more, maybe a little less).
Then think about getting a smart charger, another battery, and more mags.
