Re: Just a thought, don't freak out

To me, and a lot of other people, airsoft is as much about hanging out with a group of friends as it is actually shooting people. Competition just makes everything so serious - and who wants to be serious at a relaxing hobby? Clark Totally understand where you are coming from... however, the origin...

Do you have experience working on AEGs? The SIG 552 might not be the best choice to learn... it's a pain in the ass to put back together(IMO). Are there any options besides the 1911DS mags (which seem to be out of production)?

G&G M4 Delta Ring Removal

I just got a G&G Combat Machine series M4 for a project gun. I want to put a shorter barrel on it. All the M4s I've worked on you just unscrew the delta ring and pull the barrel off. On this G&G with the "real steel" type delta ring the fake gas tube is blocking the delta ring from moving. So I thou...

Re: Tappet Plate Longevity Problems

I've had tappets/gearbox combinations where the tappet was a little too wide to smoothly move back and forth. If the tappet is pinched in the gearbox it's going to cause additional stress. You could double check to make sure the nozzle pushes in easily and springs back easily once you have the gearb...

That would be my guess too. If all the internals look fine the motor set screw on the bottom of the grip could have backed itself out. When that happens it'll make a horrible screeching/grinding sound.

Tighten it a turn, try a single shot. Repeat until you hit a sweet spot.
