Re: Minnesota Airsoft Laws for Minors (Under 18)

"Airsoft Guns" are not specifically defined by Minnesota law. However, airsoft guns share characteristics of "airguns", "BB guns", and "Replica Firearms" under Minnesota law. As a result, they are subject to statutes covering all three definitions. Under Minnesota Law, any crime involving an Airsoft...

Re: Minnesota Airsoft laws and questions

I don't know of any law that allows a 16 year old to purchase an Airsoft gun. State law sets this at 18.

14-17 = Parental permission required.

This is covered here:

Re: Op lightning strike load out?

Regarding flashlights, I actually recommend carrying at least three: 1) A small "find your way in the dark" light. I have a Pelican VB3 on my vest, it was great for navigating stairwells and corridors while keeping a low profile and not wrecking my low-light vision. Quiklite makes a similar product ...

Re: Rigs for bigger guys?

As a bigger guy, I have to echo what Gabe said - I really like the chest rig. My preference is for the split-front style (Condor Ronin) for easier on/off. For full body armor vests, I have a Blackhawk Cutaway and don't like it. The velcro attachments are not well thought out, the cummerbund tends to...

The ALICE ruck is worn like any other backpack. You put your LBE on and then you put the ruck on over it.

What Grenada unit were you looking to replicate? Different units there had very different gear and uniforms.

If you have the skills to hollow out that resin cast, you have the skills to scratchbuild the gun yourself. I wouldn't recommend hollowing out resin. Having built several resin kits it can be very difficult to work with. You could vacuform a shell of this casting, then fit it over your base gun. How...

As Tank said, the full auto feature is fun, but not very practical for skirmishing. I had continual problems with my KSC G18s selectors unintentionally locking into the "safe" position and keeping the gun from firing when I needed it to. If you want a practical full-auto pistol, I suggest you check ...

Let's review: 1.Treat all guns as if they are loaded. What that means is, you never do anything with a gun you think is unloaded, that you would not do with a gun you knew was loaded. 2. Never point your gun at anything you do not intend to shoot. When you have a gun in your hands, you are responsib...

The RS Kriss uses an extended Glock 21 mag, so it makes sense that the magazines are unusually large. A mag pouch for the HK UMP might work.
