Re: MG42

A little late to the party here... Sorry I'm the Commanding NCO for the 3rd Panzergrenadiers, right now the Soviets are growing faster than the Germans. While our events are Eastern Front themed, some of them are open to all WWII Military Impressions. It is important to note that the events at Big L...

Re: you guys are really tempting me

wow... lace front wigs: http://www.royalmewigs.com/lace_front_wigs.html make people look so different. You guys are really tempting me i'm about to order a lace wig , but these are making me want to buy full lace wigs instead and save myself some money! Interesting, but I fail to see the relevance....

Re: Guns and gear for WWII airsoft re-enacting

So I went out to the folks' place today and shot the STG-44 for the first time. Wow! It really puts out a rope of BBs. I don't have a chrono, so I cannot report on that aspect. One small gripe that I've been dealing with the last week with this gun... the screws that hold the wood stock in place are...

Re: Guns and gear for WWII airsoft re-enacting

So the WW2 Section here needs some action.... AGM has released a fairly decent Stg-44. It is metal and wood and heavy as hell. Mine arrived from HK this weekend. I have not yet had a chance to shoot it, but based on the reviews around the intarwebs it looks promising. The downside is that it comes s...

Guges Mk3
I ended up buying a WA Beretta M1934 and it showed up last week. So you can cross me off the prospective buyers list.

Re: Post your WWII Uniforms/Gear/Setups

Yeah, if only I could be a professional WWII Airsofter, maybe ATF, Grigsby and Trident would sponsor me

Re: German Luftwaffe uniform

I too would be interested in one of the Berettas now that I have 2 sniper rifles... As stated above, the WE Luger 4" is quite the nifty sidearm. Once I paired it with my custom K98, I have not touched my MP40 at a single event. I was considering getting a 6" or 8" model as I am our unit's PAK gunner...

Re: Old Guy New Game...

As an owner of both the Chinese cloned Thompson and the MP40, I can say they're both great guns. With the Hi-caps for my Thompson and the 350fps it shoots, I'd feel like I'd be on par with any modern airsofter. As far as springers go, I have a custom made K98 and a generic bolt-action rifle that I'm...

Re: Guns and gear for WWII airsoft re-enacting

A couple WW2 items for the crew here. We just got back from the Battle for Migano Gap in Amsterdam NY this past weekend. This was an Italian theater event that had around 40 people in attendance. Full AARs can be found here: http://ww2aa.proboards45.com/?board=east&action=display&thread=4062&page=1 ...

Re: Guns and gear for WWII airsoft re-enacting

where do u get a lee enfield? also does a Dboys kar98 work? Unionman would be a better voice than me on the Dboys K98, but I saw his prior to him shipping it off to his brother in-law. The two critical flaws of this gun as far as skirmishing are as follows: Single BB cartridges. You put a BB in a m...

Re: Post your WWII Uniforms/Gear/Setups

I spent less than $100 on the portable air source adapter. As far as the gun itself I'm not sure, our unit commander bought it from a guy in New York at an event last December (or maybe it was a trade). Anyway, a lot of work has been put into it in the last 3-4 months. A nice photo progression of th...

Re: Post your WWII Uniforms/Gear/Setups

Ahh the PAK, quite the miracle of PVC and Plywood if you ask me :) It doesn't belong to Unionman or myself, but I did do a fair amount of airsmithing to get a portable airsource on it. Currently the gun is charged by compressed air at 60-80 psi. The firing mechanism is a sprinkler valvle connected t...

Re: Complete Soviet WW2 uniform

You may want to check out Trident Military http://www.tridentmilitary.com/ or Front of Russia http://www.frontofrussia.com/ These sites were recommended by the commander of the 198th Rifle division, our soviet counterparts in the Midwest Ostfront Airsoft Association. http://www.ostfrontairsoft.com/ ...
