Yup, mostly on Facebook. It's kind of sad, really: The format of Facebook really doesn't lend itself to any proper discussion. The group can only talk about two or three things at a time, so stuff often revolves around what-gun-is-best type posts.

I made an AT-4 type thing a few years ago, based in a 6" PVC pipe. Cramming everything in a LAW sized tube might be tough. I used slim CO2 tank, but also used CO2 powerlets while testing it. Those might work for you if you're having trouble fitting everything inside the tube.

But again, only for ops and similar well structured games. For open sessions and whatnot, you can use whatever you [lease as long as it meets the FPS requirements.

I'm fully with Bunny on this one (shocking). Many of those shots looked like they were hitting walls. The sequence at 01:10 looks like he's out of ammo. The cameraman is a douche bag.

If it's an actual MG36, with the right barrel and everything, it should count. If its a G36 C with a drum mag, it won't.

If I walk up behind you and you don't know, would you prefer that I bang kill you, or shoot you in the back from five feet? If you tend to run at people and get into bang kill situation...

Dremel. Find the appropriate size of bit, grind in a slot, and unscrew it. It might take a bit of work, but it will work and won't damage the threads.

Rice paddies shouldn't be hard at all. Just make low berms in a grid pattern to delineate separate paddies. The tricky part would be keeping the grass right to make 'rice'.

CO2 is inconstant. If you get liquid CO2 in the gun, you can get large FPS spikes. I've chronoed a CO2 grenade launcher that was more than twice our limit. Green gas is the way to go, followed by AEP.

Two unrelated questions:

Is that leather wrap on the stock?

I think it would look better with an off brand tac light. Thin leather sling, well worn receiver, and a name brand light. It doesn't mesh.

Is this because you're on concrete all day?

As long as it shoots under the FPS limit, you can use whatever you want. If it shoots over, you would have to be an MAA member.

It doesn't matter what shape or action your gun is. Snipper rules don't apply until the gun is hot.

I've always thought about encasing a gun in a big hollowed out block of styrofoam. It would end up looking like a horrible video game gun or something out of a sci fi movie, and mag changes might be a bitch, but it would be an awesome block of quietness.

That doesn't sound like any member I can think of. Most of us are quite laid back about the whole affair. I'm with J-Muss on this one. Where are the posts, and more importantly, who are the people? My guess is that they aren't actually members (there's only 30-40 of us).

Everybody should have woodland, and probably DCU. If you're too cheap/lazy to get a surplus uniform, you shouldn't be going to ops. Mission based objectives with second, and tertiary objectives. I've been in plenty of objective games where I dump everything at spawn so I can get the objective quickly. I don't even need a pistol for self defense because I'm so much faster than all of you :D

The main reason I wear ACUs/BDUs while playing is for protection from brush. I'd advise against getting short sleeves. And again, the combat shirt just looks silly if you aren't wearing a plate carrier.
