You could also have a defective motor...tried swapping motors too?

Can you free spin the gears by doing a shim test?
Well it was getting a full cycle but now its just the latter.
How do I shim test?

Re: G36 Not cycling

Okay so luckily I didn't have to open the gearbox and all it was is the anti-reversal latch. I released it and put the gun back together and test fired it just to make sure. Lock up again! So is there a way to stop this from happening or are we going to have to open it up every time to re-release it?

Re: G36 Not cycling

ho boy...if you don't know what you are doing, why are you messing with it? If you have stripped gears, the motor will turn. There is NO WAY your going to push gears against a spring with a screw driver. Has this gun ever worked? if not...did you check the polarity? Has this gun ever worked...if it...

G36 Not cycling

Hey guys I've got a friends G36 over at my house here and we have taken it apart. The initial problem is that instead of turning over, the motor just "clicks" after a short wind. Well some genius decided it was the fuse or something and they ended up busting it to sh!t. So we went and got a pack of ...

Its purely cosmetic and does nothing...plus being a low cost clone gun...its "normal". Yeah I know it doesn't function. If you wedge a small piece of foam tape in behind the bolt catch, it won't rattle. You can color it black with a permanent marker so it's not noticeable. Thank you! Exactly what I...
