I'm about to blab a lot of words, so I'll give you a TL;DR. Airsoft is a hobby. It's supposed to be fun. Don't do anything that'll make it not fun for yourself or any of your friends. Fake out-ranking someone on an airsoft team means absolutely nothing. No one cares if you're Captain of the So-and-S...

Re: To play airsoft you must have...

Some of the most fun I've ever had in airsoft has been in situations where I didn't need a gun, either because I was role playing, or focusing on objectives. At Ops I've gone hours without firing a round, and had a blast. It's one of the reasons why I stopped playing paintball and have never gone ba...

It's not so much a belief, as a mentality. I would definitely go the CableCard route, vs. sending coax out of your receiver into a TV card. A big reason is I don't think you're going to get HD that way. A second is that a CableCard usually costs like $4-$5 a month, whereas the box costs $10. You can get something like a Hauppauge DCR-2650 th...

You can get quite a few rounds out of a quality hi-cap before needing to wind, certainly more than you'd get out of a mid-cap. While anything is certainly do-able with one hand, it'll be tiring. Stick to smaller guns that will be more manageable. P90s and an MP5K or PDW come to mind. An MP7 might be...

Make sure the hop-up isn't set too high, that could cause it to jam. If it's a standard-type M4 you should be able to get to the hop-up by pulling back on the charging handle. It'll be a little dial on the right side under the ejection port cover. Roll that back all the way off and try again.

As a general rule of thumb, if you need other people to convince you to do (or not do) something, rather than really wanting it for yourself, it's probably not the right choice. If you need to be talked into something, you've probably already decided you don't want to do it.
