If you're interested, I have the plate carrier in OD that I wouldn't mind getting rid of. I'm a bit big for it. (I weigh a lot more than 175) and I get too hot in it. (See last comment.) I got it used, but it's in fine shape. $25.

Keep in mind you don't need to be a member of the MAA to play in open sessions. In fact, most players that play in open sessions aren't MAA members.

You know, a mag pouch on the stock looks just fine, and changing out your battery with one can be as fast as changing out a mag. It gives you way more battery options and doesn't really get in the way.

The MAA also rents AEGs. You need to reserve them. They aren't all that expensive and would give your friends a chance to try and AEG out for the day.

No. Gas guns work much much worse in the cold. (if at all.) As much as it will pain you to hear it. Your best bet is to wait until spring. Yes, 400 fps would make any paint round explode in the barrel possibly causing all sorts of damage. They are meant for low-powered springers. (And aren't allowed in MAA games.) As a side note, playing airsoft with a helmet sucks. They're hot and clunky. Also, because they sit high on your head, you end up getting hit more. (At least, it always seems like that to me.) You would be way better off getting a patrol cap or boonie. Lighter, cooler and, I think, cooler looking. B...

Odd that they didn't mention anything about Columbia Heights seizing most of Thunder Alley's assets for non-payment of taxes. (Thunder Alley had a paintball course in Columbia Heights for a short time.)

I would like to see more roll playing in games. Preferably with NPCs that can change the outcome of a scenario. (i.e. if you just shoot the NPC or yell at them too much you don't get intel you need. If you bribe them with beef jerky you get a ton of intel.) I would like to see more interactive props...

Make sure the selector switch, (the switch that changes from semi to full auto) is set to one or the other. I suspect that it is sitting in the middle.
